How we work
What to expect when you work with us
No mystery, no lock-in you don’t understand. Here’s exactly how a project runs, from the first conversation to the ongoing work that keeps your marketing healthy.
Step by step
Eight stages, start to finish
Initial consultation
A free, no-pressure conversation about your business: the work you do, the areas you cover, where enquiries come from now, and what you’d like more of. We listen more than we pitch.
Business & competitor review
We look at how you currently appear online, review your website and profiles, and see what nearby competitors are doing well. This tells us where the real opportunities are.
Marketing plan
We set out a plain plan: what to tackle first, what to leave for now, and why. You’ll get clear priorities and an honest sense of what each part involves.
Content & brand preparation
We gather what we need — photos of your work, service details, the areas you cover — and prepare the words and brand elements the project depends on.
Design & development
We create the work: the website, the brand, the campaign, or whatever the plan calls for. You see it as it takes shape, not just at the end.
Review & approval
Nothing goes live without your sign-off. We share drafts, take your feedback in plain rounds, and adjust until you’re happy to approve.
Launch
We put everything live carefully: testing on real devices, checking links and speed, connecting your forms, and making sure the details are right.
Ongoing support & improvement
Marketing isn’t ‘done’. We keep an eye on results, suggest improvements, and stay available. How much ongoing help you want is up to you.
Your part
What we’ll need from you
The more you can share early, the smoother it goes. Don’t worry if some of this is rough or missing — we’ll help you pull it together.
- The services you offer and the areas you genuinely cover
- A few photos of your own work (we’ll guide you on what’s useful)
- Your logo and any brand files, if you have them
- Access to your domain and any existing website or profiles
- Your business hours and best contact details
- A sense of your budget and what success looks like to you
Timelines & feedback
Realistic timing, clear approvals
Every project is different, so we won’t pretend there’s a fixed number. As a rough guide:
- A brand project often runs over a few weeks
- A small website typically takes a few weeks once content is ready
- Local SEO and ad campaigns are ongoing by nature
Feedback happens in clear rounds. We share a draft, you tell us what to change in plain terms, and we adjust. Nothing goes live until you’ve approved it. The biggest thing that affects timing is how quickly we can get content and feedback — so we’ll keep nudging gently to keep things moving.
No inflated promises. We can’t guarantee rankings, a set number of leads, or specific revenue — too much depends on your area, season and competition. What we can promise is careful work, honest reporting, and a clear say for you at every stage.
